Sphynx. The Sphynx appears to be a hairless cat, although it is not truly hairless, they have very, very short hair. The skin should have the texture of Chamois leather.
The cats are not, however, entirely hairless but covered with fine, downy hair that is said to be like a peach skin. In Greek mythology the Sphinx was a female monster with the body of a lion, the head and breast of a woman, eagle's wings and, according to some, a serpent's tail. The Sphynx is not the first instance of hairlessness in domestic cats.
